Peripheral blood mononuclear cells are isolated from blood sample using density gradient centrifugation.
Isolation of PBMC
Activation of T-cells from peripheral blood mononuclear cells using Dynabeads® Human T-Activator CD3/CD28.
T- Cells Activation
Following PBMCs isolation, we offer isolation and activation of T-cells from PBMCs for downstream applications. Dynabeads® Human T-Activator CD3/CD28 is used to activate T cells and cells are cultured in CO2 incubator. Upon harvesting, cell count and cell viability is performed using trypan dye exclusion methods.
Identification of different cell populations within the PBMCs fraction using flow cytometric analysis.
The BD FACSVia flow cytometer allows identification of different subset of cells in the PBMCs population by using different surface markers, such as:
- CD3+ (T cells)
- CD4+ (T helper cells)
- CD8+ (Cytotoxic T cells)
- CD14+ (Monocytes)
- CD19+ (B cells)
- CD45+ (Lymphocytes)
- CD56+ (NK cells)
