Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (PBMCs) Isolation
Peripheral blood mononuclear cells are isolated from blood sample using density gradient centrifugation.

Isolation of PBMC

Cytonex provides service to isolate peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) from human blood sample using density gradient separation method. Total cell number and viability of the PBMCs will be calculated using trypan blue dye exclusion method and the cells will be cryopreserved and stored in liquid nitrogen before being shipped out to customer.
T-Cells Activation
Activation of T-cells from peripheral blood mononuclear cells using Dynabeads® Human T-Activator CD3/CD28.

T- Cells Activation

Following PBMCs isolation, we offer isolation and activation of T-cells from PBMCs for downstream applications. Dynabeads® Human T-Activator CD3/CD28 is used to activate T cells and cells are cultured in CO2 incubator. Upon harvesting, cell count and cell viability is performed using trypan dye exclusion methods.

Flow cytometry

The BD FACSVia flow cytometer allows identification of different subset of cells in the PBMCs population by using different surface markers, such as:

  • CD3+ (T cells)
  • CD4+ (T helper cells)
  • CD8+ (Cytotoxic T cells)
  • CD14+ (Monocytes)
  • CD19+ (B cells)
  • CD45+ (Lymphocytes)
  • CD56+ (NK cells)
